JAMMU, Sept 9: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today made it clear that the re-organization of J&K State was the only solution to vexed Kashmir problem .
Addressing the activists of the KPC at New Delhi today its president Kundan Kashmiri said that KP Assembly held under the chairmanship of father of the community late A N Vaishnavi in 2001 had also passed a resolution for creation of separate Kashyap Bhoomi for rehabilitation of over seven lakh Kashmiri Hindus in the Valley.
Kashmir said with out the re-organisation of the State there is no solution to Kashmir issue and this can be a solution to the problems of all kinds of refugees in the State including West Pak, PoJK and Kashmiri Pandit refugees. Moreover there will be no levying of Jazia on the pilgrims visiting various Hindu shrines of the State as has been done by the present State Government on Vaishno Devi, Amarnath and Machail Mata pilgrims.
Kashmiri said that people of Ladakh region, Jammu province as well as Kashmiri Pandits, Gujjars and Bakerwals and other segments of society are suffering because of few separatist groups in Valley who are blackmailing the nation and exploiting the sentiments of the people also for their vested interests.
He said after the re-organization of the State by carving out a Kashyap Homeland within Valley for Pandits, separate state hood to Jammu and UT status to Ladakh the problem will end once for all and separatists as well as Pakistan will be marginalized.
Kashmiri also appealed the community to observe the Balidan Divas on September 14 when former vice president of State BJP and a great patriot Tika Lal Taploo fell to the bullets of Pak aided militants in 1989 as black day by wearing black badges and switching of the lights in their houses and business establishments for one hour in the evening.
