KATHUA, Sept 9: The workers of MNREGA working in Rural Development Department who are on strike and dharna in the entire Kathua district for last nine days today took out a procession from various parts of the town here to protest against the callousness of the authorities towards them.
The protesters demanded immediate settlement of their demands and warned to continue the strike till the demands are met.
The protesters were demanding payment of wages to MNREGA workers in the district as per the Central Government norms.
