SAMBA, Sept 9: A BSF Jawan died after he fell down from a train at Samba while traveling from Kathua to Jammu this afternoon.
He was identified as Janta Baru, 35. He was posted at Baramulla district in Kashmir Valley.
Soon after he fell down from the train he was shifted by Police to District Hospital Samba where seeing his condition critical doctors referred him to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment. However he succumbed to his injuries in the GMC late in the evening.
The Samba Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law.
