SAMBA, Sept 10: Under-16 Boys Tournament in the disciplines of Volleyball, Kabaddi and Kho-Kho under Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyan (RGKA) commenced at Govt Higher Secondary School Gho-Brahmana, here today.
The Tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the overall supervision of DYSSO Samba.
Block Development Officer (BDO) Vijaypur, Anirudh Sharma declared the Tournament open in an impressive and well attended function.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Anirudh stressed upon the players to take part in sports activities for all-round development of personality.
The Tournament is being conducted under the supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officers Vijay Singh Slathia and Raghubir Singh.
The prizes were distributed among the students by Zara Singh, Principal HSS Gho Brahmana.
Panchayat Gho-Brahmana won the Volleyball title, defeating Panchayat Suchani in the final.
