SRINAGAR, Sept 10: Mallinson Girls team defeated Government Women’s College MA Road, Srinagar by two goals to nil (2-0) in the final match of the Women’s College Football Tournament 2015 at Govt Women’s College here today.
Earlier, in the first half, Mallinson girls dominated the game from the word go and earned a penalty in 15th minute, which Annesa Hallen converted into goal on second attempt.
In the second half, their star striker Annesa scored her second goal to help her team win by (2-0) to lift the title trophy.
Waheed–ur-Rehman Para, Political Analyst to Chief Minister presided overe the valedictory function and awarded prizes to both the teams, referees and members of organizing committee.
