KISHTWAR, Sept 12: A man died after coming under the wheels of a bus, with whom he was working as conductor.
As per police sources, a conductor died after coming under the wheels of bus, which was on its way to Jammu from Padder near Naigad nallah here today.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Singh, son of Prem Singh, a resident of district Udhampur.
The conductor was standing in the door of the bus, when his foot slipped and he came under the wheels of the bus and died on the spot.
The body of the deceased was shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar, where after completing legal formalities, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
The driver of the bus identified as Parveen Singh, son of Kapoor Singh, a resident of Mahore, district Reasi has been arrested.
A case under FIR Number 157/15 under Section 304-A RPC has been registered against the driver at Kishtwar police station and investigation started.
