New Delhi, Sept 13:
The Annual General Meeting of the BCCI which was scheduled to be held on September 27 in Kolkata has been indefinitely postponed as the parent body awaits Supreme Court verdict on whether former president N Srinivasan can be allowed to attend meetings.
With only 14 days left for the scheduled date, it is only a foregone conclusion that a postponement of AGM was needed in order to adhere to BCCI constitution.
Once the apex court issues clarification, the BCCI will needs to give its members atleast three weeks’ notice from the time final working committee meeting in order to convene AGM.(PTI)
