JAMMU, Sept 16: To commemorate the Golden Jubilee celebration of 1965 War victory, Lieutenant General RR Nimbhorkar, General Officer Commanding, White Knight Corps flagged off a Car Rally at Nagrota Garisson today.
The Rally team comprising of 21 officers and jawans in eight vehicles will reach Ambala Cantonment today.
The GOC interacted with each participants of car rally and veterans at the rally site. He also interacted with the students of Army Public School Nagrota. A special memento and cap was presented by the Team leader of the car rally to the GOC.
Earlier, to pay homage to martyrs, a solemn wreath laying Ceremony was organized at Ashwamedh War Memorial. Wreath was laid by Brigadier PK Sharma, Officiating Station Commander Nagrota Military Station at the memorial.
