JAMMU, Sept 18: A deputation of executive members of central body of Private Schools Association, led by the State coordinator of Ajay Gupta, called on Director School Education Jammu Smita Sethi and apprised her about the functioning of private schools as well as their grievances.
The Association demanded fresh guidelines to the Chief Education Officers for speedy disposal of long delayed matters like inspections of the schools, renewal of permissions etc.
The Association told the Director that the school running without permission/ recognition illegally without providing healthy infrastructure to the students, were bringing bad name to the educational system and the same should be checked strictly without any delay.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and promised quick action on their demands. She also assured that circular no.118 DSEJ of 2015 Dt. 30/03/15 will be implemented in letter in spirit for conformation/ countersignature of results of Private schools of Jammu Province.
The deputation comprised of Sanjeev Luthra, Ajay Singh, Uttam Salgotra, Vishwa Mohan Sharma, Thomas Ooman, Vaneet Gupta, Mulkh Raj, Subash Kerni, DD Khajuria and others.
