JAMMU, Oct 1: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced to rationalize its 3G annual data tariff for all its prepaid customers from today on the occasion of its 15th Foundation day.
According to Upendra Bakolia, Addl GM (S&M-CM), from October 1st, 2015, the BSNL prepaid customers will have one more option to choose a new 3 GB Data STV which will cost them Rs 444. The validity of this new STG will be 60 days. He said the BSNL is also bringing another new combo voucher at Rs 239 offering 1 GB data at 3 G speed plus talk value of worth Rs 100. This STV will have validity of 14 days, he added.
Mr Bakolia claimed that the company has come up with four annual data STVs with denomination of data voucher DPV 1499 having free data usage of 0.75 GB per month for 12 months and main account validity of one year; DPV 2799 with free data usage of 1.5 GB per month for 12 months having main account validity of one year; DPV- 3999 with free data usage of 2.5 GB per month for 12 months and account validity of one year; and DPV4499 with free data usage of 30 GB for 12 months having main account validity of one year.
Director (CM), BSNL Board N K Mehta claimed that no other operator in the country has so attractive STVs as BSNL has largest and widespread coverage with lowest tariffs.
