RAJOURI, Oct 1: Police arrested a thief and recovered three stolen motorcycles from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Rajouri police station conducted raid in Sheema Crossing area and arrested a thief.
On his disclosure, police recovered three motorcycles bearing registration numbers JK02BE-5389, JK02R-3397 and JK11-8421.
The accused has been identified as Mohammad Sahil, son of Jameel Ahmed, a resident of Sheema Crossing, Rajouri.
In this connection a case under FIR Number 489/15 under Section 379 RPC has been registered at Police Station Rajouri and investigation started. More arrests and recoveries are expected in this case.
Police team led by SHO Rajouri Inspector Yashaul Singh Jamwal made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Rajouri and SSP Rajouri Dr Haseeb Mughal.
