JAMMU, Oct 3: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR), Nardni Jammu today organized a free Ayurvedic medical camp at Choudhary Market, Bantalab Road, in city outskirts.
The camp was supervised by incharge of the camp, Dr KK Kapoor. An expert team of doctors including Dr Twinkle Gupta, Dr Vishal Khanna, Dr Jagmeet Kaur, Dr Raman and Dr Puneet Bhat from JIAR examined a large number of patients, who visited the camp. Free medicines were also distributed among the suffering patients free of cost.
The villagers were advised to follow yoga, Pranayam, Surya Namaskar daily and not to indulge in junk, spicy food. They were also advised to stay away from alcohol, smoking and drugs. Besides, they were told to maintain cleanliness around their place of living to avoid spread of communicable diseases.
A follow up camp will be held in same vicinity within fortnight.
