JAMMU, Oct 5: Outplaying their rivals convincingly in the semifinals, Preytam and Shourya have made it to the finals of the Under-10 boys category in the ongoing 30th Jammu District Badminton Championship, being organized by Jammu City and District Badminton Association at Badminton Hall, Gulshan ground, here.
While in Under-10 girls singles, Ruhani and Snowy qualified for the finals by beating their rivals in the semifinals played today.
Earlier, in the semifinals of the Undere-10 boys, Preytam outplayed Peehar by (21-14, 21-13), while Shourya got better of Bhavdeep by (21-12, 21-10, 21-8).
In the semifinals of Under-10 girls, Ruhani defeated Arya Rajput by (21-7, 21-13) and Snowy prevailed over Ananya by (21-7, 21-5).
In Under-15 boys singles, Aish Goswami beat Sanchit (21-4, 21-6), Nakul trounced Hardik (21-12, 21-4), Sidharth trounced Prajwal (21-16, 21-10), Aryan beat Subkeerat (21-8, 21-20), Rahul defeated Vikalf (21-8, 23-21), Yashender Singh beat Avnish (21-7, 21-17), Nakul drubbed Sidharth (21-14, 21-18), Aish Goswami outclassed Yashdeep (21-11, 21-11), Aryan got beter of Rahul (21-13, 21-18) and Yashinder Singh beat Sehdev (21-10, 21-10).
In Under-15 girls singles, Naman defeatd Komal (21-5, 21-5, Bhawani trounced Janvi (21-1, 21-7), Rashmi beat Shruti (21-11, 21-17), Akriti defeated Nikita (16-21, 21-18, 21-9) and Bhavini beat Rashmi (21-16, 21-18).
