JAMMU: Legislative Assembly Speaker today revoked the suspension of two legislators of Opposition National Conference following a request by the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Sayeed asked the Speaker Kavinder Gupta to reconsider his decision of suspension of two legislators – Altaf Kaloo and Abdul Majid Larni – from the house.
Earlier, several other legislators including Muhammad Yusuf Tarigami also made similar requests.
After Speaker announced the revocation of suspension, Tarigami and secretary legislative assembly were asked to convey the decision to NC legislators who were sitting on a sit-in outside the house.
