J&K claims 20 medals in National Kick Boxing C’ship

Jammu, Oct 8: J&K Sports Kick Boxing Association bagged 20 medals in the National Kick Boxing championship 2015 held at Sujanpur in Pathankot, Punjab.
The championship was organized by Amateur Sports Kick Boxing Federation (India) Member of Nehru Yuav Kendra (Govt of India) Department of Youth Affairs & Sports.  The J&K Team participated in the competition under the supervision of Anil Nanda, Chief Technical Director J&K Sports Kick Boxing Association while Ronika Rathore accompanied the team as a Manager.
In the championship more than 300 students of different States participated, whereas 25 students of J&K represented team. Former Minister, Raman Bhalla, appreciated the players for their best efforts towards martial arts and also advised the students to join martial arts for self defence and also bring laurels to the State.
The gold medals were bagged by Dhairya Gupta (Jodhamal School), Soham Kalsotra (Jodhamal School), Lakshya Gupta (DRS Kids Talab Tillo), Kavish Nanda (The Roots Montessorie), Aryan Gupta (K.C. International), Adityavir Singh Jamwal (Heritage School), Gaurik Khullar (Heritage School) Adhiveer Sharma (Delhi Public School), while the students who bagged silver medals included Rachit Gupta (Jodhamal School) Ashish Mattoo (Dogra Academy) Nixon Gour (Banyan International School), Rudresh Sharma (Delhi Public School), Suzen Nanda (DRS Kids Trikuta Nagar), Kabeer Khullar (Heritage), Aryaveer Gandotra (DRS Kids) and Adhyan Gujral (Delhi Public School).
The Bronze medalists included Kashish Pandita (Aglow Kids), Rakshan Mahajan (Roots the Montessorie), Rajveer Gandhotra (Jodhamal), Sarbdat Singh (Roots the Montessorie).
