JAMMU : Hardcore criminal and contract killer (‘supari killer), who escaped police custody from a hospital in August was re-arrested by the Jammu police from village Chak Malal in Sujanpur area of Pathankot, Punjab.
“A special team was constituted after criminal Sunny Baba escaped and the officials were working round the clock to solve the case,” police sources here today said.
Based on a tip-off, raids were conducted outside the state and the accused (under-trial) was nabbed. Sunny Baba, who was lodged in Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal escaped from a hospital where he was undergoing a treatment. (UNI)
