JAMMU, Oct 9: One person was killed and 15 others injured one seriously after a matador bearing number JK08 A4570 turned turtle near Devika Bridge on Jammu – Pathankote National Highway.
The dead passenger was identified as Harnam Singh S/o Mohan Singh resident of Bara. The injured have been admitted in Vijaypur and Samba hospitals while one seriously person was referred to GMC Jammu for treatment. The matador was on its way from Vijaypur to Baradagoor.
The driver of the matador fled after the accident and the passengers said that he was dead drunk. The Sapwal Police has registered a case and launched search for driver who till last reports came in was still at large.
