POONCH, Oct 12: District Institute of Education and Training organized Tehsil Level Social Science Quiz Competition at Government High School, Sanhai for the students of Surankote tehsil.
The main aim of organizing this competition was to inculcate the spirit of competition among the students using different skills at elementary level keeping in view the present era of competition so that students can prepare themselves with the changing world.
The programme was presided over by Azrar Hussain Shah, HOD DIET, whileas Safeer Hussain Shah, Lecturer and Zulfikar acted as quiz master and scorer respectively.
The programme was conducted by CMDE wing headed by Nagesh Arya HOD under the overall guidance and supervision of Mohinder Singh, Principal DIET.
The team of HS Sadan Surankote secured 1st position, whereas the teams of HSS Lathoong and Government Middle School Lassana clinched the second and third positions respectively.
Prizes to the winning teams as well as consolation prizes were given by Nasreen Akhtar, Headmaster of the host school.
