Shriya Bhatt Mission organizes Medical Camp

JAMMU, Aug 26: Shriya Bhatt Mission Hospital and Research Centre Jammu organized a Special Hematology Camp, here today.
Eminent Hematologist/ Oncologist, Dr AK Ganjoo, MD Fellow Hemat (UK) examined the patients suffering from the blood disorders like Anemia, Blood Count Loss, Leukemia etc in this free Medical Camp.
The patients from across the State availed the facility of this special camp. The visiting patients were even from the districts of Srinagar, Kishtwar, Poonch and Rajouri.
While commenting on the occasion, Dr Ganjoo informed that Anemia has been detected maximum in migrant women.
“Since Diabetes is spreading like epidemic in the refugee population due to stress, it also leads to Anemia, while the dietary habits and malnutrition is responsible for Anemia in the children,” informed Dr Ganjoo.
General Secretary of the Mission Hospital Trust, Vir Ji Bhat briefed about the working of the Hospital and its outdoor activities and said that the Hospital is providing medical facilities to needy and deserving free of cost.
The activists of the Mission who participated in the Camp included RK Pandita, Omkar Bhat, Ramesh Raina, Adarsh Ajit, Chand Ji Kak, JL Raina, Tej Bhat and Shruti Rajput.
