Girl students from Darchiks on Bharat Darshan tour

JAMMU, Oct 15: An educational tour under “Operation Sadbhavana” comprising 18 Girl students and two lady teachers from remote village of Darchiks near Batalik under the aegis of Tiger Hill Brigade was flagged off by Commander Tiger Hill Brigade, today.
The tour spanning 11 days and bearing the motto “Bharat Darshan” aims to expose the young girl students of the village Darchiks which is one of the four ‘Aryan’ village in the entire nation and who leads a very conservative life within their village, to the rich and diverse cultural heritage, economic growth and secular nature of our country.
The children will get an opportunity to visit places of cultural, educational, economic and historical interest in the cities of Srinagar, Jammu, Dharamshala and Chandigarh.
In a motivating address, while flagging off the tour, Commander Tiger Hill Brigade said that the children will experience the great strides our country has taken, culturally and economically which is possible only in a peaceful environment.
