JAMMU, Aug 26: Multiple Super Specialty OPD camp was held today at Government Hospital Sarwal.
During the camp, Dr Raja Langer, Urologist, Government Hospital Sarwal, Dr Vipin Gupta, Endocrinologist, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Dr Manoj Gupta, Gastro Intestinal Surgeon, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Dr Pankaj Goel, Consultant CTVS, Fortis Escorts Amritsar, Dr Vaneet Sehgal, Neurologist, Fortis Escorts Amritsar and Dr Bikramjit Singh, Head and Neck Cancer Surgeon, Fortis Escorts Amritsar screened about 500 patients and gave them further advice.
Facility for free sugar testing was also provided by Johnson and Johnson. Many pharmaceuticals provided free of cost drugs and medications to patients. Students from Bee Enn Charitable Trust Hospital assisted the consultants in smooth running of the OPDs.
Dr Arun Sharma, Medical Superintendent Government Hospital Sarwal also interacted with the patients and public present and informed them that such camp would be held at Government Hospital Sarwal on the last Sunday every month. He said that the next Super Specialty camp would be held on September 23.
