Crossed Swords Division provides computers, furniture to schools

JAMMU, Oct 16: The Crossed Swords Division under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’ in its endevour of improving the infrastructure of schools in Pallanwala, distributed computers and furniture to Schools.
Under the project, Govt Higher Secondary School, Kharah, Upper Bararoh, Bararoh Colony and Kartyal Simbal were presented with computers and furniture by the Division.  The students studying in these schools, being from remote villages and poor families, lack the basic educational infrastructure to pursue quality education.
The school staff realizing their limitations, approached the Army authorities and requested help in terms of infrastructural up-gradation and development of these schools in the remote border areas.
The event of distribution was attended by the school staff, students, Army officials and other prominent members of the civil administration.
