SRINAGAR, Oct 20: Malapi Mishra, wife of Late Arjun Mishra, mother of Director General Prisons, S. K. Mishra, passed away at her residence Jagdishpur Cuttak in Bhuvneshwar Odisha today.
To mourn the demise of Mishra, a condolence meeting was held at Police Headquarters (PHQ) here this afternoon.
Chaired by Director General of Police, K. Rajendra Kumar and attended by ADGPs, S. P. Vaid, Navin Agarwal, V. K. Singh, S. M. Sahai, Dilbag Singh, L. Mohanti and other police officers, the meeting expressed grief and sorrow on behalf of all ranks of Jammu and Kashmir Police. They conveyed their condolences to Mr. Mishra and expressed their solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of sorrow.
As per the family sources, the cremation will be held tomorrow at Bhunashwar.
