JAMMU, Oct 21: Parminder Singh of Punjab lifted a dangal title held at Public Bajrang Akhara, Bishnah, here today.
Kaka Pahalwan of RS Pura won the second spot in the event, while the third place was bagged by Kalu Pahalwan of Bishnah.
Over 200 wrestlers drawn from the States of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and host J&K participated in the event to vie for the top honours.
Former MLA, Ashwani Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion. For winning the first malli bout, Parminder was presented a Motorcycle by the chief guest, while Kaka received a buffalo for claimed the second position and Kalu got Refrigerator for emerging third in the event.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Narayan Dutt Sharma, Bishamber Lal Mehra, Monohar Lal, Kali Dass, Joginder Kumar and Prem Pal.
