JAMMU, Oct 22: A 35-year-old man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Narwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Baljit Singh son of Tirath Singh, a resident of Malik Market (Narwal), allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence, today.
Founding him in unconscious condition the family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable when the last reports came in.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
