SRINAGAR, Oct 22 : National Conference (NC) reconstituted its Minority Cell here today.
In order to expose the false, communal and divisive propaganda of the PDP-BJP Government, a meeting of delegates from the minority community was organised. Following the meeting a new National Conference Migrant cell was elected through a voice vote. Ex-MLC Bhushan Lal Bhat was elected its Chairman while M.K.Yogi was elected as the President.
The cell comprises of nine Vice President namely Bal Krishan Bhat (Ganderbal), Amit Koul (Srinagar), Ramesh Bharti, Raj Nath Fotedar, P.L Talashi, Mohan Lal Pandita (Kupwara), Pinkey Bhat, Harminder Singh and Ashok Koul.
Besides Abay Bakaya, Roshan Lal Master, Santosha Handoo, Shiban Ji Pandita, Tej Krishan Koul, Ravi Ji were elected as Secretaries.
Sunil Koul (Kupwara), Renu Peshan, Ajay Khar, Bushan Lal Bhan, B.L. Bhat (Shankar Vihar), Nanak Singh Bedi, Phoola Ji (Udhampur) were elected as Jt. Secretaries.
M.K. Yogi, Bushan Lal Bhat, B.K. Bhat have been elected as spokespersons. Bittu Ji Bhat will be stage secretary/ organizer, Amit Koul and M L Dhar as Publicity Secretaries. Ved Lal Pandita is the Treasurer.
The Executive members of the Cell include Bansi Lal Panndita ( Ex. DSP), Nana Ji Dambey, Manjeet Singh, Vinod Ji Koul, Sunil Kumar Koul, Chaman Lal Dhar, Tej Krishan Pandita, Mohan Lal Pandita (Udhampur), Omkar Nath Bakshi, Raj Kumar Tikoo, Monesh Wattal, Aushtosh Pandita, B.B. Kitchew, Ashok Kumar Koul (Jagti), Makhan Lal Pandita ( Jagti ), Kashap Tikoo, A,K. Raina ( Srinagar ) and Roshan Lal Raina .
