Romeo force organizes Kho-Kho Tourney

Jammu, Oct 31: With an aim to encourage local students in sports activities, to explore the hidden talent in the remote Rajouri and Poonch districts and to give them a platform for a healthy competition,  Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Romeo Force organised Sector level Kho-Kho tournament at Galuthi in Rajouri.
The event involved participation of 08 Kho – Kho teams. The event was attended by the teaching staff, school children, parents and eminent citizens of the nearby villages. The local students were full of enthusiasm to watch and participate in the event and appreciated the event organised by the Army.
All the teams exhibited great competitive spirit. The final match was played between teams from village Dhangri and village Dungi in which team from Dhangri won the tournament.  Prizes for the winner and runners up team was distributed by the Officer conducting the event.
The tournament concluded with a vote of thanks by the Sarpanch of village Galuthi.
