J&K Sports Thai Boxing team bags 26 medals in National C’ship

JAMMU, Nov 2: Jammu and Kashmir Thai Boxing team, sponsored by J&K Thai Boxing Association bagged 26 medals in the National Championship held at Khandwa, Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
The Championship was organized by Thai Boxing Federation of India, recognized by School Games Federation of India (SGFI) and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India.
The State team participated in the event under the supervision of Keshav Singh, Chief Technical Direrctor of J&K Thai Boxing Association.
The gold medal winners included Abhinandan, Vasu Dev Singh, Shivan Gupta, Yamini and Ankush Sharma, while the silver medals were bagged by Gourav Sharma, Nikhil Manhas, Khushvinder Singh, Parshant Sharma, Saksham and Nihal and the bronze medals went to Diksha, Prabjot Kour, Dewang, Danish, Santosh, Tanzin, Jas[reet Singh, Pavit Sharma, Ankit Singh, Rishav Verma, Anish Sharma, Lalit Sharma, Danish, Shubham Choudhary, Keshav Singh and Sindhya Sharma.
Ankush Sharma and Nihal Lalotra accompanied the team as manager and coach respectively.
