JAMMU, Nov 2: After the final nomination of the selected Indian team and dope test results taken by Indian Powerlifting Federation, four Powerlifters from J&K namely Rohit Singh Jamwal (66kg category), Pankaj Verma (93 kg category), Vijay Choudhary (93kg category) and Irvinder Kour (72 kg category), from J&K Sports Powerlifting Association have been selected to represent India in the World Powerlifting Championship to be held at Hamm /Luxemberg Germany from November 9 to November 15.
Rakesh Kumar will be the team coach.
Team got honoured at office of the Association today in presence of Mandeep Kour, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation alongwith Rajan Jain, general secretary of the Association.
