REASI, Nov 7: Salal Power Station of NHPC Limited organised Volleyball Tournament and T-20 Cricket Tournament on the occasion of National Unity Day & NHPC Raising Day. Teams of NHPC, JKP, District Reasi, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jyotipuram, CISF, Unit Salal and CRPF participated in the Tournaments.
Based on the performance during Cricket League matches, teams of JKP, Reasi and KV, Reasi made it to T-20 Cricket finals.
In the final T-20 match played at Ramleela Ground, Jyotipuram , JKP defeated KV, Reasi by four wickets with many overs to spare. Final of the Volleyball match shall be played on November 7.
Speaking on the occasion, A.G.Ansari, General Manager, Salal Power Station said that sports develops a feeling of unity and brotherhood at many levels among the fellow players, organization and nations at large. He also appreciated the sportsman spirit shown by the players during the tournament.
