Baramulla, Nov 7: The final match of the Asif Memorial T20 Tournament was today played at Showkat Ali Stadium Baramulla, wherein Lower Boys Khwajabagh emerged as the winners. Joint Director Planning, A. G. Malik was the chief guest on this occasion.
Calling for organising such events frequently, A. G. Malik highlighted the fact that sports is inevitable for the development of youth, both physically and mentally. While distributing prizes, he mentioned importance if involving more youth in sports. 16 teams of North kashmir participated in the tournament.
Lower Boys Khwajabagh defeated Wonder Boys Baramulla by 22 runs in final, with Haroon Rahid scoring a century. Lower Boys team scored 189 in 20 overs, in reply to which Wonder Boys team could only score 167 in their allotted overs.
