MV International School celebrates Annual Sports Day

JAMMU, Nov 7: MV International School celebrated Annual Sports Day.
The opening ceremony was graced by the Chairman of the School Hira Lal Abrol by declaring the event open, along with Senior Vice Chairperson Sarita Abrol.
IG BSF Rakesh Kumar Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion, who while speaking motivated the students to participate in sports.
The event began with the march past and all the participants taking over the pledge for the sports meet. The school playground was filled with festival spirit, frolicsome atmosphere and brimming with enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Participants exhibited tremendous amount of zeal and spirit to fight to the finish amid cheers from their teachers. There was a great enthusiasm all around as athletic events like running, race, relays and race for teachers added to the excitement and thrill as each house member cheered for their representatives and the onlookers were spell bound with their activities which included colourful callisthenic drill, exemplary precision of pyramid formation and grit of the aerobic performance. The synchronized march past parade of the four contingents was a mega event and it culminated with the victory march followed by the award ceremony.
The best House Contingent Trophy was given to Newton House.
Director Prep wing and the Principal of the school motivated the sportsmen sprit of MVEANs.
At the end, Director presented vote of thanks.
