Doda, Nov 8: The NSS unit of Government Degree college Doda organized a quiz and a painting competition on the theme ” Neat and Clean Environment, the Need of hour” in the college complex.
Principal GDC Doda Dr. R.K Raina was the chief guest besides HoD Zoology , Dr Ajaz A. Wani, Professor Zoology, Dr Wahied Balwan, HoD Physics Bashir Ahmed,Prof. Falak and Prof. Ashwani Kumar were present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion Dr R.K Raina elaborated the aim of Swachh Bharat Mission and appealed to all the participants to educate the masses about the importance of maintaining the neat and clean environment.
In painting competition, Haris Aftab student of BSc Part 2nd was adjudged first whereas the second and third positions went to Irshad Ahmed of BSc. Part -1st Semester and Zubair Ahmed of BSc Part 2nd respectively.
The programme was organized under the supervision of NSS Programme officer Prof. Ashwani Kumar.
