JAMMU, Nov 9: J&K Sub Junior Taekwondo team won galaxy of medals in 33rd Sub Junior National Taekwondo Championship held at Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh.
12 players from Jammu and Kashmir participated in the Championship which included 8 boys and 4 girls.
The medal winners included Soham Sharma (silver), Rudra Pratap Singh (bronze) and Keshav Khajuria (bronze).
Out of a total of 12 players, 9 entered the quarter-finals.
The players who entered the quarterfinals included Achutam dev Singh, Pranshu Gupta, Sushant Verma,Vaibhav Abrol, Kushagar Sharma, Arunima Sharma, Aprijita, Anuradha Rajput and Anamika Sharma.
Sanjay Kumar, Anil Singh Parihar and Rohit Sharma were the coaches and managers of the team, while Atul Pangotra was the chief coach.
