Punjab scores 310 in 1st innings against J&K

JAMMU, Nov 14: J&K bowlers managed to get rid of all the Punjab batsmen for 310 runs in the 4-day match of the Cooch Behar Under-19 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association at GGM Science College, here.
Ikjot Singh played a brilliant innings of 96 runs off 135 balls, studded with 15 boundaries, while Satvir Singh and Pardeep Yadav also contributed valuable half-centuries to help Punjab score a respectable total. Satvir scored 70 with 12 boundaries, while Yadav contributed 51 with 8 delectable fours. For J&K, Momin Mansoor, Majid Yousuf and Auquib Nabi bagged 2 wickets each, while Abid Mushtaq and Sunil Kumar claimed one wicket each.
Earlier, the new ball was taken by J&K after bowling 82 overs, when Punjab was at 278/7.
