JAMMU, Nov 14: Setting example for other sportsmen, cueist Rahul Chib proved that determination, devotion and sheer dint of hard work is the only mantra to achieve goals as the physically challenged defeated his strong rival Mandeep Singh to win junior snooker title at MA Stadium, here today.
The ace cueist defeated Mandeep (3-0) by (46-41, 56-21, 66-47) in the summit clash to emerge champion.
Earlier, in the Senior Billiards match, Kuldeep Sharma got better of Gurjeev Singh (2-0) by (100-50,100-50).
Meanwhile, in Senior Snooker at Srinagar, Raahil beat Shazada Singh, Yunis Kuchey toppled Fayaz, Waseem Iqbal Shah trounced Umer Himanyun, Mian Bashir defeated Zeeshan, Zahoor Khar outplayed Mudassir Ashiq, Imaran Wani beat Uzair Ronga and Adnan Khursheed prevailed over Umer.
