Law School students represent J&K in Coastal Trekking Programme

JAMMU, Nov 16: Students of Jammu University Law School participated in national level five-day Environment Awareness and Coastal Trekking Programme, organized by the Kerala State Bharat Scouts and Guides at Kanhangad, Kerala.
164 Rangers & Rovers from 21 states participated in the programme. From the Law School, 4 students namely Antra Pandit, Smiley Gupta, Gurpreet Singh and Ramandeep Singh were selected to represent J&K State. The students were also accompanied by Mohd. Bashir ALT(S) as a Rover Leader.
The students actively participated in various projects like Surf Smart, Messanger of Peace,  Swachhta Abhiyan and  regular trekking events. The Foundation Day of The Bharat Scouts & Guides was also celebrated with great enthusiasm with distribution of flag stickers.
All 4 Rovers & Rangers of The Law School,  representing J&K State,  were selected as patrol leaders for different patrols in the programme. They also presented culture of J&K by performing Kashmiri folk dance and  Dogri folk songs. Their performance was highly appreciated and awarded.
