RAJOURI, Nov 18: Jammu Kashmir Armed Police (JKAP) 5th Battalion Rajouri distributed uniform items to 228 poor and needy students of far flung areas of Tehsil Thanamandi, under its Civic Action Programme (CAP).
The items were distributed by Mohd Farid, SSP, Commandant, JKAP, 5th Battalion Rajouri, in the presence of GOs, other officers of the unit and locals of the area, during a programme organized at Government High School (Rajdhani). The uniform items distributed on the occasion include shoes, uniform, socks, etc.
Speaking on the occasion, the SSP said that Police Department under the CAP has always been helping poor and needy by organizing such programmes and would leave no stone unturned to hold the same in future also.
