JAMMU, Nov 21: Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) Srinagar defeated ITEC by 5 wickets in an easy contest in the T20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by KC Sports Club at KC School ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, ITEC scored a modest total of 101 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Vikrant Tagger was the top scorer with 62 runs, while Raman contributed 11 runs to the total. For RCC Srinagar, Kuldip Kumar was the pick of the bowlers, who bagged 3 wickets, while Raghu claimed 2 wickets, Sourav Chopra, Samiullah, Dilbagh Singh and Puneet Wattal picked one wicket each.
In reply, RCC Srinagar, scored the required runs in 12.3 overs by losing 5 wickets, thus won the match by 5 wickets. Puneet Wattal was the top scorer with 42 runs off 32 balls, studded with 7 delectable boundaries, while Ankit Basan and Honey contributed 18 and 13 runs to the total respectively.
