SRINAGAR : Air traffic was hit in the Valley as foggy conditions continued for the second day, resulting in cancellation of all morning flights to and fro Srinagar International Airport, officials said.
“No flight could operate so far. We have cancelled all the morning flights due to the poor visibility,” an official of the Airport Authority of India told here.
She said the air traffic will resume once the weather improves.
“All the passengers were informed about the cancellation of the morning flights,” the official said.
Airport authorities had cancelled all the 21 flights, scheduled for yesterday, due to poor visibility as a think layer of fog engulfed the valley, leaving hundreds of passengers including tourists stranded.
The foggy conditions persisted for the second day today, but not as powerful as was witnessed yesterday, disrupting normal activities.
