BANDIPORA, Nov 24: 7th District Budgam Rugby 7’s Championship 2015, organized by District Budgam Rugby Association under the aegis of J&K Rugby Association concluded at Sports Stadium, Budgam, today.
20 teams across the district took part in different age groups took part in the Championship, which was sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
Fayaz Ahmad Lone, SSP Budgam was the chief guest, while Riyaz Ahmad Khan, Manager Sports Stadium, Budgam was the guest of honour.
Prizes were distributed among the winners and runners-up players.
In Senior Boys, Shah-i-Hamdan Educational Institute Khomini Chowk emerged winner, while Narkara Stars Rugby Club was the runners-up team.
In Junior Boys, Hanfia Mehboobul Alam Educational Institute Khomini Chowk was the winner, while Tiger’s Rugby Club Chattergam was the runners-up.
