JAMMU, Nov 25: Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Bansi Lal Bhat and Justice BS Walia has granted bail to Radhey Sham, who was convicted and awarded life-imprisonment in murder case by the Trial Court.
After hearing Senior Advocate PN Raina with Advocate JA Hamal for the accused person whereas AAG LK Moza appearing for the State, DB observed, “on consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the considered opinion that in view of enlargement of appellant Som Raj on bail with reference to his role in the alleged occurrence, petitioner Radhey Sham to whom the same role is ascribed, cannot be denied the concession of bail on the ground of parity”.
With these observations, court allowed the bail application and granted bail.
