Shawetica leaves to officiate in National Sport Climbing event

Jammu, Nov 26: Shawetica Khajuria, joint secretary of Mountaineering Association of J&K and a qualified national judge in sport climbing, left today for Delhi to officiate as a Judge of the 21st National Sport Climbing Competition scheduled to be held at Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi from November 27 to 30.
Miss. Khajuria, a trained mountaineer who is also general secretary of Tawi Trekkers J&K and an executive member of Indian Mountaineering Foundation North Zone Committee, is among the two female and five male judges selected by Indian Mountaineering Foundation from across the country for the conduct of the National  Championship. The other judges are: Debu Mukherjee of Kolkata, Amit Sharma and Major Dami both of Delhi, Akash Ganesh of Bangalore, Prajakta Ghode of Pune and Parkash Kelshekhar of Mumbai.
A topper of All India Sport Climbing Judges Course, Ms. Khajuria has already judged at a number of National and Zonal competitions and has been President of Jury of State Sport Climbing Competitions for the last many years.
