UDHAMPUR, Aug 30: In an effort to create awareness on unique biodiversity of the country, Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF) in partnership with the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India is running the ‘Science Express -Biodiversity Special (SEBS)’, an innovative and unique mobile exhibition mounted on a special designed 16 coach AC Train. The train will be stationed at Udhampur Railway station from 22nd to 25th November, 2012.
Accordingly, the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, P.K. Pole has directed the Chief Education Officer Udhampur and heads of various educational institutions to send their science stream students along with faculty members to railway station Udhampur on these dates for upgrading their understanding about the rich biodiversity of India.
The exhibition timing will be between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
