JK Montessorie secures first position in Dogri Folk Dance Competition

JAMMU, Nov 27: JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School secured first prize in the Inter school folk dance competition, which was organized by Youth Talent Search at Alexendar Memorial School.
Around 10 schools participated in the competition. Ten students from each school participated.
The students of JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School, who participated in the competition, were Kritika Bindroo, Shipra Sharma, Triveni Baru, Diya Nijhon, Manvi Gupta, Muskan Sharma, Bhoomika Rajput, Vanshika Thakur, Khushi Vshist and Akshita Bhagat.
The students were beautifully attired and with great vivacity they performed dances. It was a treat for eyes watching children performing various difficult steps, which left the audience spell bound and craving for more.
Director Academics Rajni Gupta appreciated the efforts of the students and expressed her gratitude in organizing the competition.
“Dogri folk dance” was prepared by the school dance teacher Smile and Co-curricular Activity teacher Jyoti Chib.
