JAMMU, Nov 27: The young and enthusiastic Thai Boxing players of Vishwa Bharati Public Higher Secondary School Akalpur Morh here brought laurels to the school by winning winners trophy and 39 medals in Thai Boxing Competition of Jammu District Schools.
The competition was held in the premises of Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Patoli, under the auspices of Thai Boxing Association Jammu.
46 boys and girls of Vishwa Bharati School participated in the competition and achieved 17 gold medals, 16 silver and 6 bronze.
The players were well-trained by the sports teacher of school Joginder Singh.
School Principal Annapurna Koul congratulated the students and admired the sports teacher for his diligent efforts to prepare the students for such marvellous performance.
The Gold medal winners are Lalit Sharma, Karan Bhan, Bhavana Salgotra, Manoj Bhardwaj, Aman Singh Saini, Tanmey Sharma, Pallav Dutta, Gourav Sharma, Monik Singh, Khushvinder Singh, Ankit Singh Jamwal, Nischal Zutshi, Pallav, Simran Sharma, Chetan Kumar, Prince Sharma and Ansh Sharma.
The Silver Medalists were Yogesh Pandita, Ankit Verma, Abhishek Singh, Ayush Sharma, Jaspreet Kour, Khushi Sharma, Jaspreet Kour, Khushi Sharma, Simran Chowdhary, Prashant Pangotra, Ankit Chib, Pavil Sharma, Kunal Tahakur, Suskham Mehra Komal Shangloo, Khushvinder Singh, Vinayak Gupta and Mayur Khar.
The Bronze Medal winners were Mithilesh Kumar, Abhishek Saini, Arjun Gupta, Mahi Sharma, Rohit Kumar, Amit Saini, Sourav Gupta and Ansh Mehra.
