District Srinagar Cycle Polo C’ship concludes

SRINAGAR, Dec 7: Two days District Srinagar Cycle Polo Championship-2015 concluded in Gindun Stadium Raj Bagh here, in which more than 15 teams of students from different schools took part in the Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior categories.
The schools which took part in the championship were Model High School, Sane Kids School, Oak Hill School, Kashmir Harvard, Oasis High School and Scholars School.
Mushtaq Ahmad, Divisional Sports Officer, Kashmir J&K State Sports Council was the chief guest on the occasion, while  Altaf Ahmad, Manager Gindun Stadium, Maqsood Ahmad from Sports Council, Sheikh Tulal Ahmad, Manager, Indoor Stadium and Riyaz Ahmad Wani, veteran Cycle Polo player were the guests of honour.
Many players were selected for the upcoming State championship which is scheduled to be held at Srinagar this month.
The event was organized by District Srinagar Cycle Polo Association under the aegis of J&K Cycle Polo Association and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
