SAMBA, Dec 12: 14th Indian Bench Press and Master Men J&K State Strength Lifting Championship was inaugurated by Sanjeev Gupta, president District Samba Strength Lifting Association at the Little Angel Public School Vijaypur today.
Ninety players from all-over the State are taking part in the Championship.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the chairman of the Championship, Rajan Gupta and organizing secretary, Vishal Dubey and the J&K Strength Lifting Association for organizing the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that thefor building a strong nation, the young generation need to take such sports disciplines.
Earlier, Ashok Singh, Senior Lifter of the district gave brief history of this game and informed that senior national will be held very soon.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Angrej Singh Slathia , Narinder Singh , Bhagwan Dass Dubey (Sarpanch ), BL Dubey, Raman Sharma, Adhil Ashraf Khan, Girdhari Lal Sharma , Gardara Singh, Parshotam Singh Charak and Vishal Dubey.
