SAMBA, Dec 13: Young Adil Ashraf Khan from Jammu district was declared the champions of champion, while District Jammu claimed overall championship in the 14th Men/Women J&K State Inclined Bench Press and Master Men Championship 2015-16, here.
Rajneesh Gupta, SDM Vijaypur was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while MS Katoch, vice president of World Strength lifting Federation was guest of honour.
Rajneesh appreciated the efforts put in by the Strength Lifting Association for organising this event.
On the occasion, Vicky Mahajan assured that the National Championship will be organised at Katra in the year 2016.
The Championship was organized by District Samba Strength Lifting Association, under the aegis of J&K Strength Lifting Association and under the overall supervision of Ashok Singh, International Referee and Technical Director of State Association.
Among others present on the occasion were Amrit Lal Gupta, BL Dubey, Raman Sharma, Ramesh Sharma, Girdhari Lal Sharma, Parshotam Singh Charak and Vishal Dubey, organizing Secretary of Championship.
