JAMMU, Dec 15: 185 students of KC Public School appeared in the National Astronomy Olympiad organized in the School by orange Planet, New Delhi.
Through this event, Orange Planet provides young people the opportunity to fulfill their dreams through a journey to NASA which boosts their interest in Astronomy as a Science and Also widens their perspective in Science and Technolog.
After the written examination held in the School, 20 students qualified for the National Level Olympiad scheduled to be held in January 2016. All of them were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals for their excellence in the qualifying examination.
The students who made it to the national level included Vansh Vardhan Singh, Anukshka Raina, Samarth Gupta, Ayush Sharma, Shivya Pandita, Chaynika Yadav, Maulik Jain, Amodhini Karwani, Mansahejal Singh, Mehak Chobber, Rutkar Baht, Akula Raina, Sambhavi Gupta, Avneesh Dhar, Ayushmaan Sharma, Eklavya Gandotra, Avinash Gupta, Adhyoksh Jyoti, Nipun Bhagat and Shivanki Gupta.
